Alison Sanford Thomas is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and a compassionate, client-centred approach to therapy. She provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
Alison works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation difficulties. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice and informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches, and trauma-informed care. She is thoughtful, collaborative, and attentive to each client’s unique lived experience.
Alison believes therapy is most effective when clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. She focuses on helping individuals better understand patterns that may be holding them back, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their values and strengths.
She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where clients can move at their own pace and work toward goals that feel realistic and meaningful to them.
